In an effort to producing well rounded and very self-aware students that are able to cope with the issues surrounding the planet. Each student is being taught to seek out the truths of the world so that they may gain a better understanding of the world today. To reveal what the media and the government have kept hidden behind the curtains is our ultimate goal in this research department. This is in order that they may be better and more productive members of society.

The section of the library dedicated to this field has been stocked full of books that cover all the major issues from past and present events that have shaped society. Topics on war, famine, which celebrity is dating who, past government regimes, and even tabloids about Britney Spears are only some of those topics that can be found in this section.

We do not want anything to be left uncovered. The majority of the people interested in this research field have always shown great passion for the social sciences. Hifi being the very student oriented university that it is only sees it fit that all aspects of this realm is approached with a very educated stand point.

Even if some of the material is what some call gossip rags, we merely refer to them as compilations of human interest pieces. After all, regardless of what they are called, they are still articles relating to significant figures in the world. Even if they are only significant to you, the typical bored with their life young adult; we still give these topics a chance to be taken up at Hifi.

Art Research Department

Here at the university we try to embrace all kinds of artistic expressions from students. The Hifi Hall is lined with countless works from students ranging from pre-war, pre-preschool to even post graduate art. We like to think that every person has their own view of the world and no matter how twisted that view may be, it should not be silenced. Instead we try to embrace every single creative mind out there.

Some of the paintings that are featured in the hall are even pieces done by elephants. The headmaster thought it was funny how the elephants held the brushes and snorted the paint on the canvas, so he decided to bring a few back as a souvenir.

Many of the pieces have even been auctioned off to a medley of private collectors. Normally most of the art inside the hall is for the exclusive enjoyment of the students, but the great demand of people, like the student’s parents, has made us reconsider selling some of them off. We can’t be greedy. We have to share some of that art to the world.

Students who have a deep interest in this field can find not only many inspiring examples decorating Hifi U, but they can also benefit from some of our most famous illustrated art inside the library. Such pioneering marvels such the Archie comics are proudly collected within the Hifi Library. If your style is more eastern rather than western we also have countless donated Japanese comic books for you to enjoy.

The pursuit of celebrating and understanding art in its many forms is this department’s focus. You can be confident that diving into research here will open your mind to the possibilities and titillate your imagination for more. If you feel that you are more suited to follow the path of deep expression we will give you all the tools to do so. Any medium will be welcomed here. From a range of oil paint, poster paint, non-toxic finger paint, water colors, sand with glue, glitter sprinkles, or even crap you can pick up off the streets, we will not judge your methods. However we will surely and truly appreciate your art.
